Shh... [She worms her way under the covers and squirms over so she's close to him. Part of her wanted to make a comment about at least smelling better than Fury, but at this point? She's not really sure that's true.

She feels sour, it's not fun. Over eighty years old and she has never had an actual hangover so... This is awful.] Quit talking. Just...let me lay here.

She sneaks home in the middle of the night, creeps into my room, and blunders into bed. [ He huffs, but as groggy as he is with sleep, it still manages to be more amused and fond than annoyed or chiding.

He does loosen up some of the covers, though, so she can get in that much further. ] That good?

You forgot to mention, she got drunk, went home with someone else, and is going to punch you in the kidney if you don't be quiet.

[God.. please? Shh... She's pressed all up against him. and curled up under the covers.] Yees...

Always such a joy in the morning. [ He laughs, but he keeps it low, half-hearted; his kidney winces at the thought. If he thinks anything else on the matter, he doesn't say. ]

Must've been a lucky guy to get you. Such a catch.

Hmm... I'm downright fucking cheery in the morning. [She kind of regrets throwing that particular bit of information out there.]

Totally a catch, always a ray of sunshine when you wake up, and god I have a handle on my anger issues.

If you're not careful, it'll spread.

[ He turns his head to give her a look complete with raised eyebrow. ] Remind me never to see you when they're not under control.

God help whoever gets infected. [She sort of laughs at that- another something she instantly regrets.] Myheadhurts..

[ He does the wise thing and hides his amusement this time around, mock pouting as he carefully turns that much further towards her. ]

That's what you get for partying 'til all hours. [ He sighs, enjoying the warmth for a moment longer. ] Did you drink some water before climbing in here, grab some pain killers?

[She buries her face against his chest, shaking it from side to side just barely. Her voice is muffled against him.] Noooo...Ididn't.

[ Lifting his head to try and get a better look at her face. ] Want me to get up and get you some before you die?

Uhuh...dun want you t'move... [She's wrapped him up in her arms and is holding him against her.] Not yet...'kay?

[ He hums thoughtfully in response, but he's got no intention of moving unless it's necessary, slightly relieved that she can wait for anything else. ] Try get some sleep, it'll feel less drastic later.

[He gets a quiet hum back from her, and finger tips brushing lightly across his back. Her face is pressed against his skin, she sighs and barely nods against him.] Gonna try...

[ He tries and fails to suppress a shiver at the touch; it's been a while since he really laid in bed with anyone but her, and she's not usually as friendly. But he's also not complaining, doesn't even really think much of it; he knows more or less where stands as far as that's concerned. ]

Got your back. Don't sleep too hard.

[Were she not so exhausted, or feeling so sick she might have played explored that reaction just a little, maybe. She's friendly enough... But even she can't presume to know where it is they stand in this any more.]

I knew I could count on you. [Mumbled slowly and softly.] Sorry for waking you.

Fury would've done it if you didn't. [ Which is sort of true, a mid-morning pile on always comes when someone wants attention and a walk, even if not quite so early.

But he lets her rest, breathes out slowly as he relaxes, one hand resting over hers, still at first, and then slowly running fingertips up and down her lower arm, the other going one further and lightly combing through her hair absently as he watches over her. ]

Hmm... [She's drifting too quickly to respond. Never has she ever felt this sick and tired-- okay she has once. But that memory isn't anywhere as pleasant as this one has the potential to be.

Sleep isn't ever easy for her, rarely is it seamless and restful. But an hour later when she wakes up, her head is still pounding, but at least she feels substantially more relaxed.]

[ After waking the first time, Clint doesn't manage to go back there with much success, dozing for a while, but mostly lying there with his eyes closed if not to the moonlight peering in around the curtains, listening to her soft, even breaths.

She's at peace like this, something he doesn't see very often, and even though she's not the woman who he knows certain memories of, have been confided in, he's certain this isn't something she does all that much where she's from either.

He speaks quietly, voice a little groggy, gruff with sleep, but still soft. ] Ready for that water?

[She shifts against him, nuzzling under his chin and sighing softly, before she lifts her head and gives him a little twitch of smile.]

That eager to get away from me?

Always. [ A quiet puff of air leaves his lips, the tease light, and with a smile in return, even if she can't see it from that angle.

He might need the toilet, though. ] Who said anything about you going anywhere? Service in bed does happen. If you're lucky. And ask nice enough.

[She grumbles softly and rests her head back down, he can't see but she's totally rolling her eyes at him.

After a moment she shifts away from him, lifting up on one elbow to bat her lashes at him.] Pretty please, can I have some water?

[ Now, it's his turn to roll his eyes, even if he does a lazy show of it, and he groans, as if he's all put upon and accompanies it with a long-suffering sigh as he starts to work his way out of the blankets. ]

You so owe me for this. [ Even though he'll never call it in, like he never usually does. The cool air hits him as soon as he leaves the bed, but he doesn't complain, shuffling off quietly in nothing but his boxers. He returns a few minutes later, a glass of water in one hand and a bottle of pills in the other, putting them both down at her side of the bed. ] Don't say I never do anything for you. Need help drinking that, too, or are you good?

Mmhm.. I owe you, yeah..." [There's a tiny moment where she almost reaches for him to pull him back again, but she needs the water, and she knows he's right about that.

She's curled up around the pillows when he returns, and moves slowly to get up propping against the pillows with an an annoyed huff. Annoyed with having to move, not with him.]

I think I'm good. [She groans, rubbing her forehead.] With drinking... the rest is still up for debate.

You sure? It looks like a lot of effort. [ He's a safe distance away, which is the only reason he's openly smirking. He learnt from a young age that alcohol was never good in large amounts, and that's without too many experiences that she's suffering through. Still, he's not going to lecture her.

He wanders around the roof while he's up, gathering the previous day's clothes to plonk in a pile by the bed, but climbs back into it instead of pulling them on. ] Can't remember the last time I saw you drunk never mind with a hangover.

Honestly? No, I'm not sure. [She takes the medication and drinks the water slowly setting the glass back down to curl up against him.]

Never have been drunk. Have never had a hangov--Oh.. Oh no...[Rolls away and scrambles out of the room to the bathroom. This is going to suck.]
